Services

I provide writing services for consumer health, health promotion, education, and B2B and B2C content writing. I write blog posts, professional profiles, donor profiles, health explainers and newsletter content.

I can help advance your mission of promoting health and well-being through evidence-based healthcare content and medical writing and engage your audience with reliable and up-to-date health-related information.

About

My nursing experience spans many years and a wide variety of specialty areas and healthcare settings. I am a BSRN who has worked for more than 20 years at a major academic hospital and Harvard-affiliated Medical Center in Boston. I prepared clinical appeals for denied inpatient stays and correspondences directly to medical staff for clarification of the medical documentation to accurately reflect the patient’s disease burden, clinical status, and scope of services provided.

My nursing knowledge and experience can help enhance marketability and goals with steadfast health content and rigorous health-related information.

  • Working in nursing has made me realize how work becomes a fierce motivator for connecting, communicating, and relating in everyday life. So, I decided to explore health writing as a channel for filling the rumbling need to be productive or helpful in some way. I thought my nursing background would offer an inventive platform from which to launch this noble endeavor, so I jumped in – feet first – the only way to fly!

Ambivert?
It may be an evocative concept. Social introverts, in my judgment, by nature, reserve immediate responses and quietly engage in deliberate reflection to deliver a more solicitous thesis.  While tapping into sociable abilities, however, introverts are sometimes able to furnish sound and convincing reports and, by the practice of deliberation, safeguard the communication of imprecise and ill-defined writings. So if segue from introversion to extroversion yields ambiversion, let it be so!

  • According to a 2023 Gallup poll, nurses are consistently ranked as the most honest and ethical profession in the US. The Nursing Code of Ethics, a cornerstone of our profession developed by the American Nurses Association in the 1950s, establishes ethical practices as the foundations of nursing education and practice. Autonomy, beneficence, justice, and non-maleficence are the specific ethical tenets forming the core nursing standards and embedded into nurses’ everyday actions and conduct. I bring high standards of professionalism that these foundational principles foster, in addition to knowledge, skills and experience earned by many years in nursing
